Renting one of Cindy Lang's vacation rental or guest house properties has been a memorable experience for everyone! Many people return to rent every year, some have come back for 20+ years. They love clambering on the rocks, watching the tide, beach combing, bird watching, picnics, exploring my boardwalks, enjoying the Martinsville Screen House, and swimming at a local beach or in the ocean off the front yard. Many enjoy a local grange supper, a world-class art show, antiquing, or an ice cream. All of this and more is in Tenants Harbor, Martinsville, Port Clyde — and throughout mid-coast Maine.

There are kayaks and boats to rent, fishing guides, and ferry boats to Vinalhaven, North Haven, Islesboro and Monhegan Islands. Andrew Wyeth, Jamie Wyeth, Ken Noland, Greg Mort, Tim Lawson, Nancy Baker, Lois Dodd, Charlie Duback and Barbara Prey are some of our famous local artists. We have hiking trails nearby, the Farnsworth Museum, the Strand Theater, excellent restaurants and wonderful shops. The Owls Head Transportation Museum, Marshall Point Lighthouse Museum, the Maine Lighthouse Museum, and Herring Gut Learning Center are all here.

Both Cindy's House and the Knox (Shorehouse) House are fully furnished. The details on the amenities are listed with the description of each house. Furnishings as shown in the photos on this website may change.

Pets may be welcome, only with a written agreement in each lease, and an additional security deposit.
Cat allergy problems may preclude bringing a cat.
Cleaning services, cooks, babysitters, tour and fishing guides may be available, please ask.

Martinsville Vacation Rentals and/or Cindy Lang and/or anyone working with same shall not be responsible for any persons, or personal properties, for any reason. Should there be a storm of any type, and/or if any forces of nature should interfere in any way with your contracted time at any one of our houses, neither Cindy Lang nor anyone associated with Martinsville Vacation Rentals and/or properties or products, be in any way responsible nor have any liability. This may mean, among other things, possibly having to vacate the premises and or property.

With this notice Martinsville Vacation Rentals and/or Cindy Lang and/or anyone working and/or associated shall be relieved of any and all liability to do with any and all properties, no matter the cause and/or reasons.

Cancellation Policy:
Once your intent to rent a specified time period has been agreed to, and your deposit is received, you are financially responsible for 100% of the rental fees for the agreed-to time-frame. If you are compelled to cancel your reservation your total rental fees shall be due. If we are successful in re-booking all or a portion of your reservation, the proportionate fees we collect from another party shall be refunded, less a cancellation penalty of 25% of the total rental amount. If we are unsuccessful in re-booking your time slot, you are responsible for paying 100% of the rental fees. Travel insurance is recommended.
