Little Portview

Little Portview is right next to Portview. This wonderful brand new addition, all 1300 square feet, is built in the fashion of an early Maine clapboard house. The proportions and style are classic Maine lobster fishing village architecture. It has wonderful views of one of Port Clyde harbor's working coves.

It is a short walk to the Ocean house, the General Store, the Monhegan boat, Dip Net, Stone Fish, the ice cream shop, the lighthouse, playground and the Drift Inn Beach!

There are water views from the living room and also from one of the bedrooms. And you can see the moon and the stars from the bathtub in the upstairs bathroom. The first floor living area has french doors that open towards the water, two other exterior doors, and 10 windows! The natural light pours in these doors and windows all day, with breezes from the harbor, and wonderful cross ventilation.

The upstairs bedrooms both have multiple windows on at least two walls. This also gives wonderful natural light, and breezes throughout.

This very fresh little house has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms.

The house is very comfortably furnished, with all amenities including 100% cotton linens. The house has a forced hot air furnace.

The first floor of the house has a living room, dining room, kitchen, and a powder room. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom. This house has a washer and a dryer, a grill and outdoor furniture, TV/VCR/DVD and if cable is available it will have that also!

This fully refurbished house is located in Port Clyde village on the St. George peninsula.

2009 Rates for LITTLE PORTVIEW
January 3 through May 2: $850 each month*
May 2–June 6: $850 per week
June 6–June 20: $1000 per week
June 20–July 11: $1450 per week
July 11–August 15: $1850 per week
August 15–September 5: $1500 per week
September 5–October 17: $1350 per week
October 17–January 2: $850 per week**
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years: $1300 per week
*Does not include utilities or services which will be additional charges/fees.
**Rates for holidays may differ from regular rates.
All rates are for up to 4 people which includes children.
Maine 7% sales tax, and a $500.00 security deposit, will be charged in addition to the weekly rate; rates are subject to change.
Rates may be negotiable, please ask!
Pets may be welcomed but only with house owner's written permission and an additional deposit.
There will be an extra full house cleaning fee for cats due to severe allergic reactions. Price to be determined by cleaning company.
