Cindy's House This classic shingle style house, designed by John Silverio, is on over 100 private oceanfront acres.
The house is 150 feet from the open ocean, between the quintessential fishing villages of Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. The house faces East and South. This is a private expanse of the classic Maine rocky shoreline, with unobstructed views in every direction, and not another building in sight.
Walk the rocks along the shore, easily accessed from the gentle slope of lawn. There is an oceanside stone patio with a tree bench and chairs, and tucked in the trees next to the ocean is the playhouse, which is perfect for reading, napping or spending the night.
The house is approximately 2400 square feet. Downstairs is the fully equipped kitchen, dining room with French doors on three sides, living room with Russian fireplace, mud-room, powder room, laundry room, master bathroom with shower and bathtub, and the master bedroom with a queen bed.
Upstairs is a sitting room, television and VCR, a long and very deep window seat, two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, and a full bathroom with shower.
There are ocean views from every room in the house.
The house has a generous porch facing the ocean, a porch on the entry side, and a porch with eastern ocean views between the house and garage.
There are several gardens around the house. There is a grill, 3 television sets, Internet access, and telephone.
This house sleeps 6 and possibly up to 8 people, which includes using the window seat for sleeping.
Please inquire for rental arrangements. This house usually only rents by the month, but special arrangements may be negotiated. Please ask.
